A magna cum laude graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver, Jacob Scholl earned his bachelor's degree in international sports administration and agency law. He subsequently began to pursue legal studies at Denver University. Jacob Scholl expects to procure his juris doctor from the university's Sturm College of Law in 2020, after which he plans to attend the Gerry Spence-founded Trial Lawyers College.

Over the past several years, he has gained experience in the legal field as an extern for both a judge and a magistrate of the 2nd Judicial District of Denver. He has also served as an extern for Judge Freyre of the Colorado Court of Appeals and for a family law firm in Littleton, Colorado. Prior to receiving his juris doctor, he intends to complete a fifth externship, this one with the District of Colorado’s federal public defender.

Jacob Scholl has already earned a basic certificate in legal research and a mediation certification during his time at Denver University. Complementing this latter credential, he has performed as a guest lecturer at the Alternative Dispute Resolution CLE Conference, where he gave a presentation on working with individuals with autism and Asperger’s syndrome in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
